Our Chamber team is made up of some of the best talent you will find in any Chamber organization. This Chamber team exerts consistent effort to insure the best interests of members are maintained. Joni Howell and her team lead our Government Affairs efforts. During the recent press conference held at the Chamber announcing the formation of the Capital Improvement Board (CIB) for Fort Wayne-Allen County, our Northeast Indiana delegation credited the importance of Joni’s efforts in the passage of this legislation. The CIB will mean millions of dollars of future revenue as well as job creation.

In the Workforce Development area of the Chamber, significant assistance has been provided to many regional economic development projects. The Graduate Retention Program continues to connect college and high schools students with meaningful internship experiences throughout Northeast Indiana . This effort, under the leadership of Kay Anthony and her team of field representatives, literally connects employers to student talent on a daily basis. Our regional efforts represent 40-50% of the statewide internship activity on the Indiana INTERNnet.

The Member Relations & Communications team offers our members opportunities to network and build relationships by participating in numerous events at the Chamber. The Chamber also offers a wide variety of award winning communication tools to promote member businesses on a national scale. The Fort Wayne International Airport plays a vital role to our region's economic development. Dave Young leads the Airport Marketing efforts to insure that the people and products of Northeast Indiana have ready access to the global marketplace. In addition to the departments referenced above, a quality team enables us to provide great member service. Maribeth Callicoat and her staff in the finance department provide comprehensive service to both staff and members in the areas of member accounting and information. Our receptionist team, Julie and Polly, answer dozens of questions from the community each day. Lastly, we have excellent staff that supports each of the above mentioned team’s efforts to insure members Chamber needs are met.
